Take a Deep Breath Filled with Sport and Hope

We are proud to announce that NOVADER is an official partner of the Erasmus+ Sport 2025 project “Deep Breath” (Project No: 101243648) — a 24-month international collaboration funded by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).

What is Deep Breath?

Deep Breath is a small-scale partnership uniting four organisations from Poland, Türkiye, and North Macedonia, working together to tackle drug addiction and social exclusion through sport and education. The project believes in the healing power of movement — using physical activity not only to strengthen the body, but to restore purpose, confidence, and community.

More About the Project

Millions worldwide struggle with addiction, often leading to isolation and loss of social connection. Deep Breath uses sports-based rehabilitation to help individuals recovering from substance abuse rebuild their lives. The project integrates participants into structured, inclusive sports programmes, encouraging teamwork, mental well-being, and long-term reintegration into society.

It is implemented in two main phases:

  1. Training Coaches: Local coaches receive professional, psychological, and communication training to work effectively with people in recovery.

  2. Empowering Participants: The trained coaches then lead tailor-made sports sessions that help participants regain confidence and rediscover hope.

Each partner country will establish a Deep Breath Support Centre, which will continue its activities after the project — serving as a long-term community hub for sports-driven rehabilitation and inclusion.
