At NOVADER, we began with a promise — to give everyone an equal voice, to create a safe space for all, and to make every decision together, democratically and transparently.

This promise is more than words; it’s the foundation of our work and community.

  1. Equality and inclusion:
    We stand firmly against any form of discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, belief, or background.

  2. Neutrality:
    NOVADER operates independently of all political parties, extremist ideologies, or radical movements.

  3. Human rights and lawfulness: Every member and participant is expected to uphold the fundamental European values of human rights, pluralism, and rule of law, in full alignment with EU and Turkish legislation — including Directive (EU) 2017/541 on counter-terrorism and Türkiye’s Anti-Terror Law No. 3713.

  4. Respect and safety: NOVADER has zero tolerance for any form of harassment, abuse, or violence — verbal, physical, or digital.

Every NOVADER member is asked to complete two short, free online UN trainings:

  1. I Know Gender 1-2-3 – by UN Women 🔗 Access the training

  2. Prevention of Sexual Harassment and Abuse of Authority (2021 version) – by UNICEF 🔗 Access the training

Completing these trainings is mandatory for all active members.
